With 50+ events a year and over 60 football match days, we bring big crowds to standout indoor and outdoor locations. Everything is done in-house, from design and marketing to staffing and production. If it’s worth doing, we do it properly.

Race
Cornwall’s largest obstacle course race returns twice in 2026, located on the beautiful Trewen Hall estate, competitors will climb, crawl, swim and swing their way around the 10km course.
This ‘Tough Mudder’ style event will attract competitors from all over the South West. With over 30 obstacles, the race is geared up for strong branding integrations.

Drone &
Fireworks
Drone Shows – In 2025 WAX brought the county its first commercial Drone Show with the Celebration of Cornwall Drone Show at the Truro City Stadium. In 2026 WAX is planning to bring at least three Drone Shows to Cornwall at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Newquay and Truro.
Fireworks Events – WAX is known for hosting some of the counties largest Fireworks events, in 2026 three events are planned including a show in Newquay which is expected to attract around 10,000 people.

Days
WAX Events exclusively run the food & beverage operations on match days.
Truro City Match Days – WAX is the exclusive food, beverage and event provider for Truro City Football Club. Each match day sees on average over 2000 fans, who enjoy food and drink at the 7+ bars around the stadium.
Newquay AFC Match Days – WAX is also the exclusive food, beverage and events provider for Newquay Football Club. Each match day sees on average 600 fans attend and enjoy food and drink at the many outlets around the stadium.
