Join like minded Oodle owners from across Cornwall for our Annual Oodles Of Poodles Dog Walk on Watergate Bay.
All Poodles and Poodle Mixes welcome from Miniature Poodles to Labradoodles and everything in between.
Extra cuddles for any Shitpoo as the boss doesn’t think they are real!
Timings
11:00am – Sign in at WAX Watergate, grab a coffee (if you want one), collect doggy bags if purchased
11:30am – Group photo and walk begins
12:30pm – Walk ends, return to WAX Watergate
12:30pm onwards – Lunch, drinks, dog menu, photos and socialising

Do I need a ticket?
Yes, the event is free, but please register in advance so we know how many dogs to expect.
Can I bring a dog that is not the featured breed?
Yes, friendly dogs of all breeds are welcome. The walks are breed-themed, but not breed-
exclusive.
Can I bring more than one dog?
Yes, you can bring more than one dog. Please register each dog if possible.
Can I come if I do not have a dog?
Yes, you are welcome to come along, enjoy the walk and join us at WAX afterwards.
Do dogs need to be on leads?
Owners are responsible for keeping their dogs under control at all times. We recommend bringing
a lead, especially for arrival, registration and busier areas.
What happens if my dog is nervous or reactive?
Nervous or reactive dogs are welcome if their owners feel the event is suitable for them. Please
keep your dog under control and give other dogs space where needed.
What if the weather is bad?
The walk will usually still go ahead in wet weather, but we may cancel or adjust the walk if
conditions are unsafe.
What if the tide is in?
Each walk has been scheduled for optimum tide times.
Where do we meet?
Meet at WAX Watergate from 11am for sign-in.
What time does the walk start?
The walk starts at 11:30am.
How long is the walk?
The walk will last around one hour, depending on the group, weather and beach conditions.
Is there a discount after the walk?
Yes, registered walkers can enjoy 20% off human food at WAX Watergate after the walk.
Is there food and drink available after the walk?
Yes, WAX Watergate will be open for food and drinks after the walk.
Will there be photos?
Yes, a professional photographer will be taking photos during the walk. Photos may be used on
WAX social media and shared after the event.
Do I need to clean up after my dog?
Yes, all owners must clean up after their dogs.
